Building Use Application Form
Please Read over the BUILDING USE POLICY before submitting this form, your submission of the form constitutes your acceptance of this policy:
Every group, church groups and non-church groups alike, that use the Covenant Presbyterian Church Sanctuary, North Annex or Scout Cabin will abide by the following building use policies:
Smoking is not permitted in the church. Cigarette smokers should show courtesy to those entering the building by not blocking the entryway while smoking.
No guns, knives or weapons are allowed on church property.
Alcohol may not be consumed on church property.
The front door of the North Annex must be locked at all times; NO EXCEPTIONS. Doors are not to be propped open unless they are monitored. Groups meeting in the building should designate a member to open the door.
Only metro area calls may be made on the Community Telephone in the kitchen.
All rooms are to be left in the condition in which they were found.
No items should be attached (taped, nailed, or tacked) to the doors or walls.
Windows and blinds may not be opened.
The parking lot is available for all visitors. We are not responsible for theft or accidents.
Bathroom faucets should be completely turned off after use. Only toilet paper should be flushed in the stools. Paper towels and sanitary items, should not be flushed.
All lights are to be turned out when the room is not in use with the exception of the light at the North Annex doorway. Restroom lights and fans should be off.
Any trash that contains food items, coffee grounds, diapers, or any bulky trash must be placed in the dumpster.
Only authorized groups may use kitchen appliances (including the refrigerator, freezer, oven, range, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc.) All appliances must be cleaned and left in the condition in which they were found.
All groups must clean the kitchen after use. This includes washing all dishes, pots, and pans, and putting them in their proper places. Sinks, counters, and dining tables are to be wiped off before leaving the building.
All perishable food is to be taken home or disposed of.
Food or liquid that is spilled in the microwave or refrigerator should be immediately wiped up
You and your organization accept to be monitored/recorded by camera audio and visually at any time
A $100 opening and closing fee will apply
Rental fees may be waived for members based upon session board determination
Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Covenant Presbyterian Church from any and all claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including attorney's fees, arising out of or in connection with their renting of church space
